Following the repeal of martial law provisions, Ukraine’s Intellectual Property Office has returned to enforcing standard statutory deadlines for all IP-related procedures.
Key Deadlines Now in Effect:
- Trademark opposition: 3 months
- Response to office actions: 2 months
- Fee payments for renewals or registrations: 3 months
Grace Period Alert
A 75-day grace period is available until August 13, 2025, to allow rights holders to complete overdue actions or renewals missed during the suspension period. A further 6-month extension may be requested, subject to payment of official fees.
