Taiwan and France have officially launched a Patent Prosecution Highway (PPH) program — a bilateral initiative designed to accelerate invention patent examinations and enhance international IP cooperation.

Under this program, applicants who receive a favorable examination result from one patent office can request expedited review in the other, significantly reducing time and cost for innovators seeking protection in both jurisdictions.

This collaboration not only speeds up patent approvals but also deepens Taiwan–EU innovation ties, fostering a more seamless environment for global technology exchange and commercialization.
