🇹🇷 Revised Madrid Protocol Trademark Fees for Türkiye

The government of Türkiye has officially notified the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) of revised individual fee amounts for international trademark registrations. These changes, which took effect on December 12, 2025, apply to all new applications, subsequent designations, and renewals received by WIPO on or after this date.

The Updated Fee Structure:

  • New Applications: 211 CHF (Class 1), 61 CHF (Class 2), and 68 CHF for each additional class.
  • Renewals: 187 CHF (Standard) / 326 CHF (Late renewal during grace period).

Navigating the Change Unlike previous flat-rate structures, Türkiye continues to utilize a tiered system for applications. This shift highlights the importance of strategic class selection during the initial filing phase. By utilizing the Madrid Protocol, applicants benefit from a centralized payment system, avoiding the need for direct transactions with the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office (TÜRKPATENT).
