In 1991, Vanilla Ice had a chart-topping hit with “Ice Ice Baby,” which sampled but didn’t credit David Bowie and Queen’s song “Under Pressure.” Initially denying it, Vanilla Ice later retracted the statement, calling it “a joke.” He admitted to sampling the work after facing a lawsuit from the duo.

This is one of the most hilarious copyright cases ever.
